Eating Disorder Treatment

Recognizing that you are struggling with disordered eating and choosing to make a change takes courage and strength.  Through our work together we will explore the role that food and body image plays in your life.  We will explore how your eating disorder has helped you manage emotions and challenges in life and you will gain new skills and tools to feel better and break the need for disordered behaviors.

I believe that treating your eating disorder requires both addressing the specific behaivors and also healing the underlying causes and needs that hold the disordered behaviors in place.

We will begin the process of seperating emotions from food so that you can repair and re-estabilish a healthy and adaptive relatonship with food and be free of negative and obsessive thoughts about food and your body.
