I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse, relationship issues, emotional disturbances, and life transitions. My approach is warm, accepting, genuine, and my feedback is direct. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them achieve their goals and identify the obstacles that get in the way of living the life they aspire to.

I believe very strongly in each person's capacity for growth and change. However, this can often be difficult to manage alone. Therapy can be a place to gain the practical skills and confidence needed to face life's challenges and feel better.

I work from a strengths-based, integrative theoretical framework, which means that my work is influenced by many theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, and Mindfulness. My approach is holistic in that many aspects of my client’s lives are addressed: the physical, emotional, behavioral, and relational in order to explore how they might be impacting the presenting concern.
